possible bug

After an empire has reduced an enemy empire to zero troops using standard attacks causes the attacking empire to continue to lose troops. Seems that if the enemy empire doesn't have any troops to defend, then the attacking empire should not be loosing troops during attacks.

On what scale is this? Do you mean the 1 or 2 troops that are lost sometimes, or is this something more?

It's not really a bug, nor is it a "feature", just something that has never really come up before. I suppose it could be done away with, though. Just one of those things, I guess, we always took as a given.

I, infact, have a substantial army that they have only destroyed maybe a 1/5 of in, I donno, probably around 80 (all but two failing) attacks. no gaurds, but a rather nice amount of experience
(we're talking about the last 500 acres, so even if all land was in gaurds 500 gaurds wont help you too too much)

I figured even a complete bunch of noobs could standard someone till they could kill them, so I thew Echo into defencive mode and have left him be for a few days now.. they've not gotten very far

btw, the people attacking me are the Borg folks, and just about all of them are incredibly weak. its not really much of a surprise they're losing troops and I'm not

Yes the reports of this that I am getting is when at 500 land or below, enemy empire has zero troops. The attacking empire is losing many more troops than 1 or 2. I'll see if I can get more detailed info on this today. I have never seen it or noticed it myself.

ah, nay then. not echo. Echo is WoA, the report is from AoL

make sure the empire truely has no troops left, as I suspect the attacker only thinks all of the troops are gone

also, with scaling, 0 galleons does not mean 0 galleons (etc)

Well, odds are that they are very near 0.

Even so, during an attack, the attacking side will have losses due to accidents, disease, ect. Thats how I always thought of it.
