Due to the recent downtime of 7 days or so, every active account in the game idled away. Our host has not yet provided us with a backup, despite our having asked them each day for the better part of 11 days.
If you, too, have been affected by this, we just want to let you know that the problem is out of our hands, sadly.
You can direct questions about the issue to user BitTraffic on AIM, or by connecting to irc.bittraffic.us and contacting users BitTraffic or Nonnie (or the room #bittraffic). Remember, all we need is a database backup from sometime prior to the downtime, placed in user faf's (that's us) home directory or emailed to his account.
If you think the issue has been resolved by our hosts, just let me know and I will be happy to restore the database ASAP.
[edit] We have database backups! I shall restore them tomorrow.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.
