When you log into the WOA admin account, and go to "Sent", you get this.

Player sent apparently works just fine.
All Sent message sections, player and admin, appear to work on BFR.
Perhaps it has something to do with sending several mass mailings out?

It would appear that it just got so massive. This is a limit of the server, not really of the code, so there's not much that can be done with this one.
