Those weren't in real-world conditions, obviously, but they hold to some extent generally:

Farming is pwn.
Indy can sometimes hold its own, but a good farmer can usually outpace them.
Spies aren't as good as they should be.
Casher is pathetically underpowered.

In a real world situation? Depends. Apart from having maxed stats for a person at 10k land and no army, just like starting out I suppose, then yes. First run out with 10k land, thats what you'll get. You can't get more real that that. Even if you give them 42940 land, your gonna get numbers that favor the same order. Except the difference is larger.

There were no attacks or any kind of necessity to defend from said attacks, right? No murder and no fighting.

Of course, my idea of "real world" would probably lend well to Farmers anyway, since they have a high recoverability factor, generally speaking.

How would attacks help? For a scientific study, everything -has- to be the same. Which is was. The variable was the race. Therefore, the results are valid. Attacks effect nothing, because everyone is equal.

I'm saying, the playability in a prolonged "real world" situation is what counts, not the pure production ability.

I still don't see how that applies. At any number, at any situation, the results will be the same. Just output is different. Agreed?

Yes, but, different strategies may be able to recover from getting pounded easier. My point is, things can change somewhat; a strategy is obviously not purely about production numbers.

Agreed. The results there are for optimal runs. Even in terms of a recovery mode, your going to get the near same order. Hawker would prolly preform better as a higher ratio I'd assume, whereas farmer would make less because of turns spent attacking. Casher would be hit hardest, and Indy might have a few problems. Still... You might see Hawker move up a bit.

They're good numbers, not disputing that. But there might be some differences between them and how much someone could produce while attacking/being attacked, and so on.

I agree to that. If you wish to test that, then make a few accounts like rudder did, and make an attacker account to bash them. There will be a slight land discrepancy, but we'll see how well it works. Agreed?

But overall I'm going to say that the data will be consistent if not slightly different than to what me and Rudder got.

Turns spent attacking hurt casher the most by a mile since they don't produce much while attacking (health/tax rate don't mix) mages get a bit of a boost since they get better ratios, indy and farmers are relatively equal.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.

No, a mager attacking destroys their ratio, getting attacked helps a mager though, if that's what you meant.

However you look at it. The order of awesomeness after being attacked and recovering is

Farmer
Indy
Hawker
Casher.

Oh look. The same. Except Hawker might be content where he is at now and just runs without hitting for land.

Depends how bad they each get whacked.
