Sevah The Mighty Gained land without attacking

Uchiha Sasuke
Today I was online and I saw something most extraordinary. Sevah The Mighty was at 89k land and then an hour later I went to check and he has over 100k land. I checked for news and he did not attack anyone. I doubt he could have scouted that much land with the amount of land he has. And furthermore I don't think it is possible to scout for land at that amount. There must be an explanation for this, and I'm suspecting bug abuse, hack or an illegal way to gain land like that. I hope a mod investigates into this matter. Thank you for reading.

Greetings,
The admin staff has grown suspicious of your land gaining. We feel an explanation is due. Please present an explanation here, http://frostnflame.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=3256&st=0
If your land gain is honest, you have nothing to fear. However, please be warned that failure to heed this summons will result if further action against you.

That's pretty damn funny! But it is also pretty damn true too!
You see, I had been under the impression that the land I explored for, or sent my troops off to die for, or mustered my wizards to do battle for, was actually MY land.
It was not! I was merely a go between! A squatter, if you will. A cow grazing on the farmers property!
That concept is alien to the newbies of Promisance like myself. But I accept it now.
There are only 3 types of players in Promisance (don't freaking kid yourself just because you are one of the undesirable types of player)!
1) The Haves : these guys have it going on, maybe they're in the top 5 maybe the top 10, it makes no difference: they came to play!
2) The Used to Haves : these people used to have land and armies and networth and selfworth! Sadly, broken treaties and broken dreams are their playthings now!
3) The About To Be : these players are about to be in one of the first two categories, some of them know it, some of them don't. Usually it's the ones who don't know it that end up as player 2 types, but there are always overachieving under thinkers that blaze their way to within grasp of being player 1 types, and then fall faster than your prom dates underwear after 3 beers! (damn thats fast!)
Far from being a pointless post exuding the misery of the realization of which type of player I am, this post is all about the mental freedom that comes from finding my place in the Promisance!
I am a Land Gatherer! I go get land and stuff and hold it temporarily until someone comes along and culls it from me! And I'm okay with that!
In fact, I'm so okay with it that I propose making a business out of it. I'm thinking of starting the MOO clan!
It already exists to some extent, but the membership isn't quite clear on the fact that they belong!
We; like all good cattle; will graze the Promisance and happily explore for oodles of land on which we will only build enough mage towers, farms and income buildings to protect ourselves from poachers, and then sell the land to the highest bidders.
Sales; of course; would entail you paying us money up front and then we 'allow' you to take the tracts of land by using conventional warfare (non building destroying/gathering attacks only mind you). This saves you money in the long run from losing troops to our pesky defenses! And no more worries about counter attacks! (as if you did anyway, hehe)
We then begin the process over again until we have more land you want from us!
As for poachers? Well, if assassins aren't available then (hopefully 5 or more clanmembers casting fireball at you will help deter or redress transgressions)
It is the natural order of things anyway! Why not make a profit from it? If you aren't in the top 5 you are only fooling yourself into thinking you aren't a 'default' or 'lifelong' member of the MOO clan anyway!
Embrace your Failure!!
Join the MOO Clan!
Some of you are already members and just can't be bothered to stop chewing the cud long enough to realize it! Why not make it official!
Do you really want to be left out of your last chance at self respect! DO YOU!
If you feel me, let me hear you say 'MOO'!! (actually a coherent response along with a MOO would be preferable) I said: Let Me Hear You Say.....MOOOO!!!

Never has that post been more relevant than in BFR this round. You have Sevah playing as a type 1, The Haves. (oddly enough that's Sevah backwards) Most of the playerbase is playing as a type 2. They can't get much land from attacking so they explore for oodles of land. Then there's a couple of the type 3's who scrape up all the land from the 2's in an effort to crack Sevah, but their actions are actually counterproductive because when Sevah signs on he all the recently explored land has all been collected onto one empire with little defense. So Sevah can cull 25-30k land from him and get even bigger. Add some mage scouting and an unknown ally and it's really not all that farfetched to pull 100k land this early in set.

Sure nuke. But he didn't attack for it. Your going to say that he mage scouted 11k into the game in one run, this early on?
I'm not normally one to point and accuse, but that seems too farfetch'd.

So I was right, admins can check many things but among others admin can't check records of how players played. This could cause many problems such as hacking and a person could use multiple accounts and log in with different Ips e.g. use other computer or internet service. And also another thing is that person could use all his accounts to aid one. I think admins really need to look into this more throughly or at least admins should get aid records etc. Perhaps Sevah The Mighty is a great player but I have my doubts and I believe many of you do too.

We can access his account at any given time. We won't unless we have suspicion that he is cheating or abusing a bug. So that way we can check records. And the root has a full log of all turns I believe. No reason to bring out the big guns. We're the type that gives you the chance to explain what your doing.Uchiha Sasuke wrote: So I was right, admins can check many things but among others admin can't check records of how players played. At 89k land it only takes 50-60 turns to scout up 11k land. Not at all farfetched imo.Freenhult wrote: Sure nuke. But he didn't attack for it. Your going to say that he mage scouted 11k into the game in one run, this early on?

Volkov: Most of the land was gained by attacking, just some of it was ED'd.

In fact not only will I say that this is possible, you don't even have to be particularly good. Once someone fills up his hit limit with 1% fireballs early in set it's all but over. It helps you hold land for the first little bit which is really the only difficult thing about a landlock from the start. Granted there's a lot of ways that it can go wrong but if nobody uses their noggin it can be held for quite some time.

What Freen said, we can easily check. We just are not going to invade privacy like that unless we have cause. Also, multies are different, those are rather easy to catch.
Raunch: The 89k was gained by attacking, we are worried about the 11k jump that he apparently did without attacking. 11k would be rather hard to gain through mage scout, even at 89k land. All he has to do is say he mage scouted it. Not an onerous request.
Is he maxed out on fireballs? I didn't know he was. It's a rather easy task to break him though, right now. He's not that impressive. I'm sure he is storing oodles, but when it's not out, it should be quite possible to break him.
