Uh. I was poking around on WoA and I noticed atleast one multi account up on the scoring. One was lame, but the other was going good and in vacation <_<. Anyway, its been there for over a WEEK. Thats bad news. BAD news. Its catching most of them. But it shows the IP as the same and no yellow. Whatsoever. This is not good. I'm not sure what to do. If I notice anythign bad I'll disarm them.

I'd hate for Sevah to multi and kill me. That would make me VERY mad. And then Rudder. That'd be fun.

I don't think the multicatcher is working on IPs right now, just emails. I suppose I can change that... After I get some sleep. :P

Uh. It is. Because I had it tested. Email and username, name in general was different. IPs were the same, and it caught them.

If you mean 629 and 639, I'd like to be in on this. I know that guy, and helped him. If he's multying, he's going to have a lot of explaining to do...

And Dev, it should be catching based on IPs. We tested it that one night when we were looking at the turns bug, remember?

Multicatcher shouldn't /disable/ based on IPs, because of the potential for misidentification. It should only disable by email, etc.

So we need to have someone on IP check duty, then? Otherwise, we have no defense against anybody who actually makes an effort to cheat... We'll stop the lazy multiers, but not the ones who are trying to accomplish stuff.

Yeah. Naraku's Kataki (#629) had 3 accounts. One got caught, dunno why. All 3 had different emails, usernames, ect, but the same IP. I disabled the 2nd one, and the 1st is on vacation.

Same IPs should be disabled by default, and I think they are in BfR cause when Gondor signed up I got disabled.

Yeah, let me know which one of those I can actually use, since I already have an empire I might as well look around.

btw me and Phoenix just caught some guy who uses Naraku in his empire name using a multi at PhoenixProm, I guess he has a habit. *laughs*
