I hate to point out the obvious but a murder run on him right about now would be perfect. 21 shielded murders = close to 3 bil net destroyed in 63 turns.

If anybody had a high enough net, yes... But I don't think there's anybody. Plus, there's the issue of keeping your ratio up with desertion (or doesn't that affect mages?)

Desertion does affect mages but not very much. You will kill more than you lose, so you can keep it up perpetually. All you need is 1.6 bil net to reach him, that's not too hard. The ratio's weak enough for any mage to crack, just simply a matter of whether they have the net, the desire, and the resources to do so.

Apparently, net restrictions don't apply with Murder/Incite Desertion. That, or the game is misregistering Arty's net. I've got a guy with 160 mil murdering him. About 2 bill gone already.

Update - Arty's stats.

Turns Stored 0 (max 300)
Rank #1
Slaves 834,256
Land Acres 361,161
Gold $0
Food 5,125,798
Scrolls 39,157
Networth $13,053,408,227
Title Leader

Era Europe
Race Macedon
Health 100%
Tax Rate 10%
Pikemen 1,098,335
Skirmishers 1,149,561
Cavalrymen 1,738,877
Triremes 4,133
Spies 8,768

Since there are no net restrictions (or they're 100x net, instead of 10x, or something) I urge all spy people to murder him whenever they have the chance. He has quite a terrible ratio, apparently, and it's only gotten worse.

Ah... you just wanted to make an eyesore out of yourself... :P

On a serious note, can we have vaccied people ranked separately? It'll be rather an eyesore with Arthus sitting there... Maybe rank vaccied people by net, starting after the lowest ranked active?

artus, you taking all of that land and then putting yourself on vacation was a real chicken shit thing to do. you know you can be broken and thusly you do that.

can we not take his account out of vacation to free up the land? i promise only to use spies, he can keep the troops.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

It may be an eyesore but I'd say not to remove protection empires from score sheet. A game with 35 vacationed empires and 15 active ones isn't the greateset looking thing, but it's still a hell of a lot better than just 15 active empires and that's it.

Besides, it gives us a nice benchmark ;)
