Fishing vernacular that's now fairly common. If you catch the fish that does not meet your criteria you toss it back in the water, if it does meet it then it's considered a keeper.

AKA she's a good enough girl to keep.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.
