 She's the artist after all. :DDD

OH MAN. THATS A GREAT IDEA. HAX. THANKS AGAIN DEVARI. YOU ARE THE MAN!\

EDIT:

On a serious note... I still can't get over this. I mean. I had a good idea of how she looked, but still. The fact that it worked out for both of us. .Its astronomical in terms of how this all happened.

The fact that I was gonna play MapleStory on a completely different world, until Yeti and Nohc told me to switch to Bera. That I decided to randomly go to Orbis with Nohc, and meet Rehema and RachelChan on the boat. That they all got stuck in El Nath and I made my way back up the tower. That I meet Ino-San and she actually talked to me and decided to help me. That she buddied me. And took me to meet the guild.

The fact that they rarely let anyone in our guild but let me in.

Its... mind booggling. Absolutely insane.

Then you had the actual meeting of her by my mom from a friend she met on a chat room that lived next to her.

Sorry to go on and on. But its... nothing short of a miracle.

Which reminds me of something that I'll finish with. "Never question miracles".

Just the usual teasing, I believe. :)

Apropos, a little analogy. Nutella and peanut butter are a bit like Linux and Microsoft. If you've ever tried nutella, it's really, really difficult to force yourself back to peanut butter.

Your analogy falls apart when you consider that peanut butter and peanut butter-derived confectionaries are still delicious, even if there are superior products out there. Windows is not delicious.

You can have a taste for a particular operating system, but you can't actually taste it. :P

I know plenty of Windows users who like it... they've just never tried anything else. It's a matter of nature, liking something without a frame of reference.

No, I think the analogy really does fall apart when it comes to food.

Take, for example, soft drinks/carbonated beverages. There are some really delicious high-quality root beers out there; or beverages that are fairly close to being root beers (birch beer is a delicious example). Now, these products are quite superior to the average, run of the mill root beer that one can get a 2L bottle for $2 or so. Nonetheless, one (well, I do, at least) can still enjoy the "inferior" product, even if it isn't to as great an extent as one enjoys the superior product. Essentially, it doesn't taste as good, but it's still quite enjoyable.

In the world of food, the "deliciousness" of two similar (or dissimilar) food items is not mutually exclusive, insofar as I can see. One can still think "Oh, Nutella is better than this!" while eating peanut butter, but nonetheless enjoy the experience. At least, a certain subset of the population would.

At least, that's how I see it. :P Given that I'm a possible subset of the population, it's got to hold true for at least one subset. ;)

I love how this went from about my life to peanut butter.

Well, that's true. But again, there is a subset of the population that likes Windows. Hell, there are even Linux -> Windows converts, strange as that may seem! So while a subset of the population may enjoy peanut butter, and certainly "Peanut butter is evil" is a generalisation, it is at least a... plausible generalisation.

Actually, Freen, I see the discussion as being more about nutella. But that may just be bias.
