I was referring to topics, which is the only place the spam button is implemented for. The system is flawless so far.

Now try to post a topic with the spam button. You can't. It's different for adding replies to existing topics. I'll give it a week or two to spot a pattern.

Do you watch bot behavior and see a pattern that you could manipulate with the new topics? AKA they all auto-clicked on the first icon available

We try too. We made a spam dump in the lunch, so it was nifty to look at all the topics and see the smiley next to them. Hence, the spam button.

I was doing that, but I stopped when the button worked. Plus, Beatles didn't feel that such measures were... necessary. >_>

EDIT: I thought editing out the links would keep the IP of the poster, but it doesn't. OOPS.
