When the low ranks cannot hold onto any land, due to magers or a particular clan hoarding land.
A land drop strat can soften the top ten and allow you to play through to #1. I used to hate land droppers until I found out what good it can do.
Here is the process:
Take all the land you can from lower ranks, those that are afraid to or too weak; to take on the top 10 rankings. Then drop all but enough to look like you still have it all, allow some to be taken away again so it doesn’t look like you’re a land dropper.
Log in each day making sure no one is online to see you drop the land.
Make your run;
Attack as much as you can. Remember presently it doesn’t take any turns to drop land.
Drop a couple thousand or even a few hundred acres. If you do this every day the ranks will fall naturally and empires that once ranked in the top ten cannot maintain their lead.
Those top rankers that don’t turn, after the land has been stripped from the ranks will sit stagnated in the top scores, unable to move for fear of loosing their net hold. Once the game is low enough of land and the ranks have slid to a soften state, make a run for the top seat. The one thing to remember is a mage only gets stronger with little land, at least until his mages equalize.
So if there is a ton o mages you proly want to wait until they make their moves, then rip them to pieces taking the top #1 spot. With this strat you can soften the ranks several times a set, if you wait until the end you can take the top rank and maintain it for the set win.
Modify as you see fit to make it your own, by using and adjusting it to fit your needs or the games conditions.
It has worked for me in the past and it should work here.
It works in BFR but don’t try this in WOA land dropping is currently broken!
