So legitimate (but IE-using) posters don't get burned, I added a Javascript warning; it will refuse to submit if you have more than 9 links in your post. Because if you use IE and go back, your post would have been lost -- but not now.

Why not? Most spam we saw had hundreds of links. 9 is generous. We have posted as many sometimes -- it's a high enough threshold that most people won't hit it. If we start to see problems again we can always lower it.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Well, there is an option in the forum that makes members verify their account through an email, just like in game. It might be an idea.
