Oh, I completely forgot man, sorry. Um, can't remember all the stats right not, DM has the character sheet. I can remember basic stats, but I can't remember his exact attack power or damage, or all the weapons or magic items he has. Suffice to say, it's many.
OK, this is my badass lvl 20 barbarian
Name: Helm Dragonslayer (Formerly "Bearkiller", but after he killed like 15 dragons in the course of becoming level 20, I renamed him. Most of those dragons were large-size or bigger)
Race: Half-Ogre (treated as standard race in GM's world)
Str 19
Dex 16
Con 18
Int 10
Wis 12
Cha 11
Weapons: Two most powerful swords in his game world, Excalibur and Ragnarok. Both are +5 longswords, Excalibur is holy, which means it's +10 against undead and Fey. (In the DM's game world anyway) Ragnarok is vorpal.
Also carries lever action repeating rifle, +2, with sniper scope that gives it a max range of 300 yards.
Also carries a +1 Holy Greatsword made of Adamant, and a +2 Mithril Katana, as well as a +3 adamant bastard sword. (Katana functions as bastard sword)
There are a whole slew of other weapons in his type 4 bag of holding.
Attack bonus with all weapons: +20 or more, can't remember exactly. +20 when raged and duel-wielding though.
Damage 1d8 +18 normal, 1 d8+20 raged
Basic history:
Helm's history was basically built in the campaign that got him to level 20, so here it is, horribly condensed. This is a multiyear campaign, fit into 1 long paragraph.
I started out playing Helm as a level 1 barbarian from the northern highlands, out to seek honor and glory in the south. He went through many adventures in a place called Pensula City, basically a fantasy version of London. He wound up facing down a man named Randall Jacoben, who was opening a portal to Hell. Helm wound up bull rushing Randall into the portal to hell and tossed the fantasy equivalent of a backpack nuke in after him. This resulted in the planes being all screwed up and opened a portal to the Fey realm, which Morgan Le Fey immediately came through and asked, in classic villian style "Are you Gods?". To which a member of the party replied, "...No.". Morgan Le Fey then laughed and critters from the fey realm began pouring through into the world. What followed was a series of adventures in which Helm and his party tried to fix this problem, all the while being hunted by bounty hunters and constantly meeting Randall Jacoben, who kept coming back from the dead. The campaign wound up with Helm and company traveling to find magic crystals created by the Druids who lived on what was basically Atlantis. The crystals were actually hyper-advanced reality altering crystalline computers, but we didn't find that out until the end of the campaign. Along the way of getting these crystals, we wound up fighting progressively stronger demons that had been assigned by Morgan Le Fey to guard the crystals. We finally defeat all the demons and put the crystals in their proper place to get the world fixed, and it turns out to be a giant pyramid spaceship, a la Stargate. The whole campaign was very much influenced by pop culture, at one point we met James Bond, another the steam punkish equivalents of R2-D2 and C-3PO. They were named Arthur and Prospero. Anyway, we get in the pyramid, put the crystals in place, and start making wishes. The campaign wound up with Helm challenging Morgan Le Fey, a god, to single combat and WINNING, whereupon the mage used the Holy Grail to send her back to her own dimension, along with all the fey creatures. In order to do that, Helm had wished for the two most powerful swords in the world, Excalibur and Ragnarok. Upon that defeat, we ran back to face down the last demon's second form, which was basically Tiamat, the evil dragon god. It would have been a tough fight if we had not taken out Morgan first and removed her protection from Tiamat, as it was, the mage and the druid used two photon torpedos to take him out. (Yes, the pyramid had photon torpedos, and so did the flying saucers we found in the hanger of the pyramid) The campaign ended with the defeat of two gods, and the characters in possession of multiple spacecraft. The won't let Helm, the ignorant barbarian, have anything to do with piloting these hyper-advanced ships. LOL. So in the whole plot resolution thing, the characters split up, some stayed to study the ships, Helm went to the highlands and founded the Dragonslayer clan. The next campaign, the epic level one, picked up basically there, a few years later. And in the first session Helm and 3 other 20th level characters defeated an entire army. We haven't played a session since then though.

I think I will revert to the name Helm Bearkiller (if you don't mind) as this will fit better. Dragons are nearly extinct on the continent we start on. Also this may help us to tell the difference between the characters in your game world and this one.
Stats will remain the same, but I will make them more descriptive in the other post.
The main thing I will adjust is your posessions and weapons. I will post suggestions here, but use your imagination when you post your character intro.
I will post a character stat sheet you can copy and paste onto the other post so it looks like you posted it, but we know better.

OK. I already have a basic character design, the weapons are somewhat secondary. But please to clear the changes to his possessions with me first, as some of them Helm would never be seen without.

What I mean is that, in the game world we are in, a sniper rifle would be somewhat out of place. The things you have are mostly up to you, but they do have to fit into the game world. We are at approx a medieval tech level.
I would suggest starting with one good sword and some useful sidearms. (remember another planet's 'most powerful sword' may or may not be a match for the swords found on this planet...not to mention you have to explain how that sword got all the way here lol.)
Another thing to remember is that this is not necessairly the same character, but a similar charater on a distant planet. We are starting an entirely new story, so your character doesn't pick up where he left off.
Your character's history on this planet is completely up to you, just be careful not to mix the game worlds...explore this one! It's more fun that way.
Also remeber that he who starts with the best weapon doesn't get to improve. As a level-20 character, you can fight better with your bare hands than most people we will meet at first, however I will attempt to make it challenging for you...

finished product...
Name: Helm Bearkiller
Race: Half-Ogre
Class: Barbarian
Alignment: Chaotic/Neutral
Racial Properties: Half-Ogres would be considered giant humans were they not so ugly. Chaotic by nature, they can be quite unpredictable when provoked. Strong by definition, they are fearsome enemies.
Personal Properties: Helm is an incredibly strong Half-Ogre, even for his race, which is already strong, he stands head and shoulders above most. He is also very tough, able to withstand blows and damage that would leave any lesser creature broken and dying. His favorite weapons are two swords, one in each hand, which he wields to great effect. In melee, few dare to approach him, unless forced to. While Helm is not stupid, he is not known for phenominal intelligence either. His magic and language skills suffer as a result. Blunt to a fault, he also has difficulty with subtlety.

He's a Barbarian, I know they had those in aD&D.Class: Fighter/?(do you want anything else)
Chaotic Neutral, sometimes leans towards Chaotic Good, but is bound by his own code of honor.
I can flex on that one, just make it a good bow then. What I mean is that, in the game world we are in, a sniper rifle would be somewhat out of place. The things you have are mostly up to you, but they do have to fit into the game world. We are at approx a medieval tech level.
Right, I understand that, but I figure a +5 holy longsword is good just about anywhere. And Helm is a dual-wielder, that's what I built him as, and that's what he's stayed the entire time I've had him, despite several changes in game format. (GM went from basically a 3.5 system with mods, to aD&D, to basic D&D with mods, to his own system entirely, though still based on d20, and then back to aD&D.) I'm willing to flex on exactly what swords he has, due to game balance requirements or whatever, but he has got to retain the dual-wielding.I would suggest starting with one good sword and some useful sidearms. (remember another planet's 'most powerful sword' may or may not be a match for the swords found on this planet...not to mention you have to explain how that sword got all the way here lol.)
Right, I understand. But he's still going to have a lot of stuff, being lvl 20, so why not use most of the same stuff that was already collected in the other game? Most of it is not unique to that game world.Another thing to remember is that this is not necessairly the same character, but a similar charater on a distant planet. We are starting an entirely new story, so your character doesn't pick up where he left off.

OK, how about we just use the +2 mithril Katana and +3 adamant bastard sword? Those were Helm's weapons of choice through the bulk of the campaign that got him to level 20. They leave room for improvement, and I don't think they'd cause the same story problems as the other two I mentioned. He also has that bag of holding with a whole arsenal he can pull from. The swords in there range anywhere from Mundane, to +2 electrified, in almost any type of sword. Rapiers, bastard swords, long swords, katanas, short swords, etc. As you said, he's probably better with bare fists than mosts, but he prefers weapons in his hand, so I can pull lesser or greater weapons from the bag. I have the exact mix of weapons in it written down somewhere, but that can be adjusted as you see fit. Also remeber that he who starts with the best weapon doesn't get to improve. As a level-20 character, you can fight better with your bare hands than most people we will meet at first, however I will attempt to make it challenging for you...

Hmmmm...I'll have to refresh my memory on the barbarian. Never messed with that one before. I will fresh up on the info, though.
Your post is good for the personal properties field, and I will use most of it (I will just edit the previous post). Write the introduction from Helm's perspective if possible.

Ever tried running multiple characters?? I have two characters created already and I have two more in mind. I will assign one of them to you if you think you can handle another. Would you be interested in a human/gnome (I havn't decided which yet) thief/mage?? An interesting mix.

I've run multiple characters before. If it helps, I have another character that I could add, or I could take one of yours. Either of those could be fun.
I'll write the intro from Helm's perspective, no problem.
Frack, I just realized I forgot to mention his armor, he has a set of +5 dragonscale full plate, but since you said dragons were nearly extinct, we'll just make it mithril full plate ok? Oh, and sorry it's in third person. I do introductions best that way, future posts will be first person, from Helm's POV.
In the other game, he also had several magic items, such as the "Helm of the Broken Horn", which gave him an extra rage per day. I have the full list on the character sheet, but the character sheet is with the GM.

That is the beauty of working the game this way...you can desribe people or items any time you want to. It's more like writing a story than playing a game. Introduce items as you have time and think of them. You may also keep a few quiet for surprises...it makes it more interesting for me.Frack, I just realized I forgot to mention his armor
Thanks for bringing in a clan...that gives me a source for more characters to enter the game. I don't think the king will summon any more...
We have two characters left to meet outside...one is a troll-warrior I will introduce. The second is forthcoming...as soon as I can get another writer (not to name any names, TS
