The land attack has been fixed, however there seems to be something wrong with the success rate. I have 600000 mages, with 11k mage towers attacking Shadow who has 177000 mages on 16k land yet I somehow fail agaisnt him. His race also has a mage penalty while mine is neutral. My ratio should be far superior to his.

Don't you need a certian mage/den ratio for the spell to succeed? Seems your is pretty low - in the 50 range.

Well, it doesn't show what it is so I wouldn't know.

most prom games have that - i know you gguys got rid of ratio dependence for missions like loot and scout, but it might still be there for offensie missions. Plus the success formula for mage attacks is a bit convoluted iirc. If it's anything like redwall, you have less chance of breaking if your opponent has more land than you.

Well the ratio is still important when looting and scouting, when looting, the better the ratio the more you make, and for scouting, you need a certain ratio to get max land scouted. Could there be a thing that shows you your current ratio?

No what I mean is that below a certain ratio, most proms make spells fizzle. LIke you need 40 mage/den ratio to raise tax, for example. OF course better ratio gives you more resources, but many proms have a cutoff where it simply doesn't work. I am 99% sure that there is a cutoff here where mage attack doesn't work, and I would guess around 50. I ran into it a lot on WoA.

Does it say that the mission "failed", or were you simply unable to break him?

Devari, could you by any chance post the equation that works out success or failure for mage attacks?

Best way to check is to do an Espy mission. It shows ALL available missions that will succeed. Sorry, been gone at a lake with a friend for the 4th.

it shows succeeding ones at the time, it doesn't show how close you are to success or failure, though. Is the formula available?

Thats not the point. If it says you can do it, then you can. Sure its only a one time guess, but if it fails after the 2nd time, then you KNOW how many hawks you need next time.

Also, you need to have a certain ratio and then more hawks than your opponent to steal land.
