When you reset your tax rate, it doesn't always take effect. Right now my management page says 65% tax, but my army status page is earning as if I were at 5% tax. I just got barely 2bil in 300 turns at 65% tax when I normally get closer to 15b with this land spread.

This is not the first time this has happened - reclicking set tax rate seems to fix it, but any idea why the first time doesn't always work?

I think your tax rate might be getting reset... Hmm. Were you losing workers as if you had a high tax rate?

Sounds like it didn't refresh. You have to be careful. You can't have multiple tabs open and just F5 to change the rate.

although i guss it could be an issue of tabs, one not being refreshed after I change the tax in the other.

I can't really find where this might be happening. There's only one place that the tax rate is saved to the database, so it can't just be randomly changing...

Can anyone else recreate this?

Open a tab to the production page and a tab to the tax page

change tax rate from 5 to 65

quickly go to the production tab and produce cash

about 1/3 times it will act as though your tax is still 5
