Does anyone know if the lottery on BfR works please? because i keep buying tickets and even though sometimes I'm the only one who gets them i dont win.

Lottery is not a raffle - you may be the only one to buy, and yet not win. Nevertheless, it might be broke.

Which is why we need a raffle. Lottery is far too random for most people to bother. But, raffles always spit out everything that goes back in. To motivate people further, just add a bonus of... 25% will work. And, there should be things other than cash raffles. Competitions between various troops as the storyline background for raffles using troops as a wager.
