Problem setting up..Noob!

Hi.

I was trying to search but that feature appears to be disabled for my level, so I best ask the question.

In the setup (config.php) I am using localhost as my MySQL database name, but for some odd reason I am receiving an internal server error which I'm finding odd at best.

So what exactly is going on here, and what should I actually be using as the host name?

update:

forget about this, i figured it out, it was my htaccess file. I had to delete it to get this to work.
