KDE does cool things yet again. I'm almost tempted to use it instead of XFCE! ;)

...Although, having KDE services in XFCE is pretty good too.

Yes, and you get the menu anyways. The panel plugins are practically the only thing you could miss. I like the xfce4-panel much better than the kicker, but you could also run both.
