I store as many men as I can on the clan market, while still keeping the minumim amount I need to get a hero, that way I don't lose as many me when the "eathquake" comes... is it worth it do this?

Even if it was it's more or less a cheat and will probably be prevented now that you have brought it about *laughs*

It sounds like a good idea to me. I may try it. I don't see how it could be called a cheat...

I always did something similar to that. If you're getting more than 1 hero in a run, then you may run into a problem with not being able to pull troops off the clan market for a few hours. There are even more efficient ways of getting heroes, you just have to get creative.

The most efficient way I know of involves a good clan market strategy. Not just any clan can do it though.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.

Because it's sort of abusing the game features... (if you know what I mean). You should let the earthquake do its damage properly and how it is suposed to.

It's not abusing the features..Beatles prolly had this in mind when did this anyway.

I do the same thing...sometimes (if I remember to)..but doesn't the earthquake only take away what's needed to get the Hero, or does it take away a certain percentage?

I store everything except what's needed. 'Tis indeed a good way to go. Although, I have only gotten two heroes in my career...

I think it only takes away a percentage.. but that 's why I was asking! If it takes away a certain percentage and taking men back out of the market costs you 10-20 percent of your troops then is it still worth it?

After you get a hero if you market stored, your nw will be low (like 10 million-ish) Therefore the market comission will be low, so yes it is worth it.

I just remove my cash and food since it takes 50% of those, and I normally get all of my heroes in one go so the market it out of the question.

Edit: You lose troops when you take things off the market too, and though I think the earthquake does more you should probably keep the troops on you unless you were planning on storing them anyway.

Market commission is dependent on your networth?

Yep.
Market commission:
networth under 10 mil: 10%
networth under 20 mil: 15%
networth under 50 mil: 20%
networth under 100 mil: 25%
networth above 100 mill: 30%
There. Everyboddy seems to keep asking about that so i am posting it here.
BTW Otter Hourd unless i am hugely mastaken NOCKs net will be beatned and dubbled by another player...

FWF,

His name is Nohc, and he's nowhere near being a new player. He's been around longer then me, probably longer then Urran, though I can't be sure about that. He's a whole lot better then you're giving him credit for, that's for sure.
