Topics:
1. How do you feel about the changes to NW calculation? It's pretty early in the round, yes, but you may already have an opinion.
2. Do you think that guards being worth 2000 defense points ought to be changed? What about buildings being worth 100 defensive points?
3. Do you think that the buy/sell prices of food should be changed to 20/5 or maybe 21/7? Or do you suggest another value?
4. Do you think that the cap on Savings in the bank should be raised? For example, to 5 times its current value, or 10 times its current value? If so, would you leave the loan cap unchanged?
5. Do you think reasonable changes might be applied to the Hero system -- maybe inline with things like racial bonuses -- to actually make it work?
Here are my answers to these questions:
1. Land is worth too much IMHO. Discounting the glitch in troop calculation, land does not accurately reflect power, troops and hawks do.
2. I personally think guards are a bit over the top. However, buildings having defensive points is a good idea.
3. I personally favor 20/5.
4. I'd temporarily raise the savings cap to 10 times its current value, and leave loans unchanged, they're too useful even as they are.
5. If Heroes were things that could modify your racial bonuses as opposed to give special abilities, they would be dramatically weaker, yet more fair and workable.
Please post your opinions and feel free to discuss other's opinions. Just please make it clear which point you're talking about.

1. Revert back to the old, with slightly higher NW for food. Peacefull food-massing should be a valid strategy, providing you have a number of alliances.
2. I actually like this. But maybe 1k DP instead.
3. 20/5
4. 10x, change stock system radically
5. Maybe a complete overhaul, but put 'em back for now.

Land is worth a bit too much, change it to about half of what it is now
The guards are alright but maybe decrease it to 1.5k rather than 2k
Food should be able to be sold for about $10-$20 no more no less
Savings, if you are on about bank savings then yeah up them a bit because the bank is next to useless otherwise
Leave heros as they are in WoA for now... This can be re-considered later on
Side note - Instead of using BfR to test everything whats up with dev??!!
Another side note - WoA Turbo would be nice

WOA Turbo makes no sense, since BFR is FAF Turbo and WOA is FAF Regular.
Testing stuff in BFR is better, since it provides real-world analysis of the situation
Selling food for anything more than $7 would ruin the game. I'm partial to $6, personally, but 20/5 isn't bad.

1. Land is worth far too much. Troops are the best estimate of power, if you don't want market storers, cut how much can be stored on the market, or impose a time limit.
2. I like the buildings, but people should be breakable when you have 17 times the number of troops they have in a troop type, but can't because they are nearly pure guards, or have alot of land devoted to guards. I would say reduce the power of guards to 1000 or 750.
3. 15/5 would be my suggestion.
4. Lower loans, keep savings the same.
5. I think the best thing to do to the hero system would be to make it cost alot less, cause if everyone can get one, everyone is even.
Its the same thing I proposed when Retto nuked wildcat. He should have modified it a little, and then created new spells that were as powerful as Goldmine and Pressgang. It would have made the game alot more interesting, and I think it could do the same here.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Yeah it is a bank you have a point there... Real banks dont really have caps on but then again people could use it for hiding cash... A hawk mission could solve that, rob bank - steals a bit from everyones bank in the game... but then again thats an advantage for hawkers so you could always twist it around a bit

You think there's no caps on the amount you can deposit or withdraw IRL banks? You go try depositing 40 million dollars. See what they say. (If you can get 40 million dollars that is)

Or just leave the bank alone. Storing cash, whether it be stocks or bank, until you can buy a whole bunch of troops should not be a viable way to win the game. They decreased sacks power, just save your cash in your horde if you still wanna do it that way. It's quite easy to prevent large amounts from being stolen. Have defense up at all times.

1. The new one is unproven. The old one worked. I'd like foodworth, but the old system without is fine.
2. Having extra land in non-guard type should not be defense. Guards values before already made near invincibility possible when you had 100k land and the game had around 20k each. The new guard values are insane.
3. Yes, but we all know I'm biased on that.
4. Okay. I don't really use it much. But I expect the rise in storable cash would make a cash massing strat viable.
5. No Brome. No Grumm. The other ones I won't complain about. Also, the heal amounts should be slightly raised. 1 per normal turn, 2 per heal function, 5+2 (possibly inadvisable, dunno) per heal spell.

I'm starting to think this was insane.
What I'd do now is drop guards to 1k, restore land and troop NWs to original, and put food sell at about 6 - 7. I'd leave the new, higher cash and food NWs.
I'd also cap the market at, say, 25% - 40% of troops, instead of the current 80% or 90%.
