Remember WB2? The Alliance of Ages, the Dog Clan, and CORIM? AA pwned. :D

Remember the days when FAF was hosted on Beatles' private server? Remember the nolimits crash that destroyed RWCenter? Would anyone believe that the Shadows theme actually dates from all the way back then, more than 2 years ago? My first contribution to the project. :)

Remember the TSOR fallout and the move to staronesw? <_<

Remember the days when Beatles left us, then I abandoned FAF, and poor nev kept the game barely alive for a few months? :(

And then, finally, a little over a year ago, 1.0 was released. And most of us have actually stayed around! :D

Ah, I remember some of that.

I remember the TSOR fallout... screwing up numerous accounts in the first days of FAF... (And I mean numerous... I was probably the worst n00b in history)

I remember when Beatles left... I was so freaked out over that, I actaully cried. Sad, eh? Luckilly Nev stuck through it, and you guys came back.

And I remember 1.0, and =WA= that first set...

And now we're on to a theme change. As Beatles said, it's fun to be alive. (I assume he means the game, though keeping one's self alive is certainly fun, too... :P

Thanks, that's a very touching mark of your loyalty to FAF. Which hasn't wavered, unlike mine... And yeah, Nev rocks.

Yes, I meant being alive in the sense of FAF being a thriving community, not a ghost on SourceForge and web.archive.org. Although at the times I have to wake up in the morning for some classes, I'd even give some favor to the second interpretation... :P

And interestingly enough, that's what happened. It wasn't just my vision, it was kept alive, and I eventually returned.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

=WA= was, in retrospect, a failure and a bit of a joke. But that it is still remembered shows that if nothing else, we made a decent impression.

I remember me and gondor taking down Neobaron from top then dad shouted at us to do a virus scan (we had a bad virus on the network) and I said no cant be arsed so we ended up getting banned off the net for a week and by the time we got back on Neobaron was back top and one of us dead *laughs*

Hehe. The Dog Clan. Didn't do much here, but twas fun. All I remember is me trying every once in awhile to get at Josh and sh0e, and then someone killing me whenever I would get close. *laughs*. I would shoot up through the ranks real quick though.
