Maplestory

You have to use IE Explorer to access but, Maplestory is an MMORPG. I was just wondering if anyone else played this. Then we could all party together and get XP faster. I'm only a Lv. 16 Rogue.

You don't play it through IE...Just to access the site. You download the game. Then it connects to a server. Gosh...You could have atleast just opened the link...

I downloaded it on my windows partion.. clicked 'run'
it downloaded (large file) then found there wasnt enough room to install
I uninstalled a large game I dont play anymore, then wandered away. windows installed an update and automatically rebooted. thus cleared the temp folder where the file was -.-

I might try again tomarrow. shame the game is anti-linux. apparently it'll install fine, but wont run at all (wine and credga)

Yeah, you just need to access it once on IE to download the game.

Right now the whole game is down, and the website it overloading. They just updated to Version 0.26 and everyone is getting the patch. Plus they are still working on the game.

Or not... I mean I really hate IE. Also, the game didn't look all that fascinating, from what I saw. Certainly no WoW.

some 38 mil (?) players in the asian (?) version

I downloaded it again, and this file apparently corrupted. the game doesnt like my system = P
I'll try again later

I dug up an old ut disk, and found the patch to make it run on a linux system. gonna play with that, see if it'll work with my sad little 8 mb graphics card. I have ut 2k3 runnin on my laptop, would be interresting to play the original

I have the game too, only got 2 mnoths for the summer, dont want to get addicted during school. I am currently at level 22 tauren druid on the balnazzaur server. WoW rocks!

all the reviews I've seen say that the community is aweful.. I donno.. I've run into a few rudeish people, but for the most part people are 'live and let die'
