Hmm. What you've missed is rather insane nets, and general netting activity. Not much in the way of clan wars.
As far as your friend, I might be able to drop a few mil your guys way, though I don't know about clans. Could maybe teach, too, but I think you should be able to handle that.

At current, I am showing him how to keep his buildings arranged to keep his economy going in the green so he doesn't have to use up the cash from the CT. He's picked it up quite well I must say... So anything that won't mess up his economy would be nice
Yeah, I'm in the process of showing him how different strats work, BUT, having said that I'm sure he would be open to any tips.Could maybe teach, too, but I think you should be able to handle that.

I don't. I have no markets or peasant huts whatsoever. Just 90% farms and 10% huts at any given time.
With the exception of all those yummy camps.

Which is why Arty, Freen, Japan and I > You. Seriously, markets are a waste of time and effort, unless you're running the casher strat - arguably, the most inefficient strat in this game.Oi I keep my money green and it works well

Hmm, well, usually what I tend to do is build lots of dens, then write a bunch of runes to get my mages up and runes up and mage loot the rest of the time... by then all the dens still aren't full because I haven't used enough turns... and by the next day all my land has gone so I go in the same loop the next day. I then sell my food and buy troop which get shoved on the CM. I usually have 2 lots of troops on the clan market, one lot which I pull off during the day and the other lot which I pull off at night for defence. I don't really store until the end as such, that's probably the main reason why you always end up higher than me, because you lot store until the end of the set, wheras I, on the other hand, do not.
It managed to get me into the top 10 on ME:MM and I was the youngest player (the one who signed up after everyone else) in the top 20 people........... thats even after sending aid to a player on the game who promised to take down Arty with my troops, but they never did, stupid GiMPs...
Edit: oops everyone knows my strat and my weak points now, oh well *laughs*

Slasher, at the end of the set, it was impossible to take me down. I had max of each troop and 1 million guards and had more mages than everyone in the game combined. Also alot of people said they would take me down with people's troops but they only used the aid to try to get in the top ten. So you were played man.

If you're maging, you should without a doubt build farms before you build markets. Spies burn through food likes it's nobody's business. Cash should be no problem for a mager. If you get low on cash, just loot a few turns. Income per turn is always in the red no matter what strat I run, with the exception of cashing. But you don't want to cash. Like Rudder said, arguably the most inefficient strat here at FAF.Slasher wrote: Hmm, well, usually what I tend to do is build lots of dens, then write a bunch of runes to get my mages up and runes up and mage loot the rest of the time... by then all the dens still aren't full because I haven't used enough turns... and by the next day all my land has gone so I go in the same loop the next day. A recommended build for a beginning mager would be 80%dens/20%farms. Although, if you can go 100% dens, it is much more beneficial, you just have to keep an eye on your food supply.
It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

I am currently testing out something like that on WoAohmyjapan16 wrote:If you're maging, you should without a doubt build farms before you build markets. Yeah I do understand that, you totally smushed the whole game... but considering where everyone else was and that I was the youngest player (I signed up after everyone else there that were in the top 19) in the top 19 people, I don't think I did that bad, not meaning to brag or anythingSlasher, at the end of the set, it was impossible to take me down.
