Body language

I've always been completely oblivious to body language so I picked up a book that explained body language the other day. I've read through it once, and it certainly deserves another reading at a minimum, but I was absolutely amazed at how much can be revealed by ones body language. 20X more than I had ever thought possible, damn near to the point of mind reading. I'm still practicing reading body language but already I can see a HUGE improvement.
For example Friday I was at the courthouse and I witnessed a group of 5 people talking. Even being out of earshot I could already tell the comfort levels the participants had with each other, who people found the most interesting in the group, and that one person was frustrated. As I got closer I found that the discussion was about a small claims case, the man I had identified as the one people found most interesting was the county's small claims advisor, the man I had identified as being frustrated was talking to him about a suit he was filing, 2 people were interns learning from the advisor, and the fifth was the wife/gf of the man filing the suit.
2 weeks ago I wouldn't have been able to discern all that if I had been listening for an hour, and with a little reading I could identify all that without even being close enough to hear a word. Anywho as you have probably guessed I strongly recommended that you guys consider picking up a book on it. (Now I finally get around to testing that spam button)

all about FAVRE, come on...you know you want to click it
The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

I had mengitis (however you spell that) at the age of 8 (in March, a few days after my birthday), which sent me deaf... I was put on some tablets to try and help keep what I had left of my hearing and given hearing aids, but none of that did any good. Anyway in september that year I had the cochlear implant operation.... I must say the cochlear implant must be one of the best devices ever invented in my opinion.Freenhult wrote:... *laughs*.
