I was just watching the BBC documentary 'Are We Changing Planet Earth', and in the middle there is some amazing footage of Australian researcher Greg Holland filmed on a boat -- in the eye of a tropical storm or hurricane! I was quite amazed, as I didn't think we had been doing that kind of thing. Yet there must have been at least himself and a cameraman in the boat. The POV was also quite astounding -- we are in an aircraft, flying across a hurricane, and the rim of the eye comes into view, and then we see the eye and descend into it. It also seemed like there was a second boat from which the filming took place.
