I actually have a technical question

Couple of questions:

1) Are you running Linux or Unix?
2) Do you have shell access (a console prompt)?
3) Do you have Cpanel?

Well, if you have Cpanel:

* Go to the Cron page from the main Cpanel menu.
* Choose standard mode.
* Go to a blank entry.
* For command put "php -f /path/to/your/page" (no quotes) (the -f is not necessary but it doesn't hurt) (path is probably /home/username/public_html/whatever/).
* Then choose how frequently you want it to execute (every 10 minutes, every 20, etc.)

For some more information check out http://www.cpanel.net/docs/cpanel/ and http://www.scit.wlv.ac.uk/appdocs/php/f ... dline.html
