and, on a related note, does maple allow same-sex marriage? (thinking of the two players you were hangin' about with, atleast for a while)

and seriously, you dont have to give playername, but lvl and class? are you marrying above or below your status?

btw, beatles, have you played around with SecondLife? I downloaded the linux client beta because I knew I could get rid of it easy.. wandered around.. its downright creepy
all the stuff there is user created, and almost all the 'top locations' center around sex. virtual strip clubs et. all
for those who know what a furry is, they have a whole large area just for them and they can -literally- yiff
I know this 'cause one of my former hallmates found me and dragged me over to that corner.. the characters have all the pieces too
ofcourse they have the human equivs, but the furrys always scare me

The last graphical game I played -- not terminal or web text -- was Worms Armageddon, and singleplayer at that. I used to play StarCraft -- multiplayed once. So, no.

We're going to split the cost. Long story there, if you want to know, I might tell.

Maple doesn't allow for SSM. Those two were bummed.

Her name is SinOrin; Level 60 Cleric.

She's in my guild. I'm a "Knight" in the order and she's queen. She "supposedly" was going to marry the King, but turned him down over me. So... I've gained the title "Lancelot", and I had to explain to someone why they didn't want to be Gawain.

Btw, she's loaded. 14 mil or so. I could care less... XD But LOLZ. I'm le poor.

Beatles: Getting married is a "Cash Shop" Option. You would use a PayPal or credit card, and buy "NX Cash" Then you can buy clothes and hair like I did. Now you just buy a wedding ticket. AKA Marriage License. They range from 20 - 30. but the 30 one is far better. So nothing bad is going on. <.<;;;

Wondy, is secondlife free? I thought it cost money. Given the things you see when you type the words "anime" and "girl" into google, I'm not surprised there is a large furry section there. (I was looking for a picture for a fake motivational poster that I did for another board, oh bugger, I'll just post it.)

yip. SecondLife is free to signup and poke around, but to do much you need to pay. you can buy virtual land and such, build your own house.. a 'secondlife' if you will

the game itself has a massive economy

there are people who make stuff like clothes ingame, sell them, and make real-world profits of 40,000 a year or so, somtimes higher.

but if you dont buy anything you look like everyone else. All archers, mages, rouges, theifs etc. have the same gear as they level up. a level 20 has more choices than a level 5, but could still look like one if they wanted to.. but you get powerups (defence, evasiveness, speed and such) and most stuff has level requirements
my character is level 24 odd, I dont like the new hats so I've kept the one I've had since lvl 12 (?)
maple is rather cathardic, hack and slash

but it gets old after a while if you dont do what Freen did and join a guild.. and even then

*laughs* Freen.. atleast her name wasnt hotchik95 (random, madeup name but it would not surprise me in the least if it was really a player)
if anything /she's/ the one marrying below her status :*laughs*: congrats, I guess

Nahhhh... I know her well enough. We talk on AIM alot. Like...everyday. *Cough* I wish I could record live video of me playing, then post that or something, so you all can see. XD If anyone knows away other than using a camera, say so.

[edit] To the currency: not really realistic, as there is only one market, only one currency, and it isn't fiat to boot. So you can throw anything post-Marx (e.g. Keynes) right out.
