It's harmful if they go to hell.

How is that harmful to the species? Biologically speaking, it doesn't really matter what happens after they die, as they are no longer contributing to the gene pool.

Also, this is assuming that A) Hell exists, which not even all Christians agree that it does. and B ) That God would send his own creation there, who, for all we know, God made that way. The only evidence we have that God doesn't like gays is a few passages in the Old Testament. We have no way of knowing if this law was inspired by god or written by a man who didn't like gays. The Bible, after all, was not written by god, it was written by man.

That’s if there even is a hell, other old writings say they will be removed from existence, I take it that means they will be erased from ever existing.

Others say all these people who defy this GOD person, will be left behind and only a few thousand will be taken the rest are to be left on earth to fend for them selves against Satan.....Who is none other then the 'GOD' who gave us the mental capacities we take for granted.

This sexuality issue will be a bone of contention for decades to come, it all boils down to those kinds of people who brag about who they have F’d, who they want to F and who can F off.....!

But it still has nothing to do with <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>school yard bullies</span>………

My son was in the first grade years ago, he was getting picked upon by a school yard bully who was in the fourth grade, and I told him to report the kid to the playground monitor (3 times) which he did. The boy was talked to and promptly increased his torments, I told my son to go up one level and report him to his teacher (3 times), and again the boy increased his bullying. I told my son to report the boy to his principle (3 times) for which he did to no avail; my son was playing near the building when the boy came back out into the school yard. Upon which he yelled out the same torments.
Well I had anticipated this would be the case and told my son if the school officials cannot make this child stop, then he needed to deal with it himself to make him leave my son alone, the child hollered a few torments then laughed and turned with his crew then began to walked away.
It was at this point my son had enough and was at the boiling point, far beyond upset.
He began running at the kid, just as he was about ten feet away he yelled the kids name, the kid and his friends turned just in time to see my little first grader curled into a ball and flying through the air at which point he impacted with the bullies’ knees, he folded the boy’s legs backwards.
The child was taken to hospital and I was called by the school to address the issue, they wanted to suspend my son for fighting. I wasn’t going to have it, I asked the principle to have the teacher and playground monitor to the office, they concurred that my son had complained multiple times the kid was harassing him, at this point I asked the principle if he had spoken to my son about it and he said yes my son had spoken several times about this boy. This is when I told the man my son was with out justice and felt he needed to deal with it the only way he could.

So as for the BULLY LAW, I say bravo it’s about frigging time……

As for the Hell thing, Oh god. Dude, they don't go to hell. Don't let anyone fool you. Its just a person living life. I tend to doubt Hell really exists.

As for the school law, thats a schools responsibility. How about we get people that care in schools first, before we enact a retard law like this.

I completely fail to see how they could enforce a law like that anyway. Most bullying occurs behind the scenes between two people, and the bullied one is usually too scared to talk about it.. So you would basically just get a status quo, but the school board looks like they are doing something.

This law is just political posturing, and won't achieve squat.

Even so, this is a waste of time and effort on whoever's part. And as much as I would like to see the people who bully be in trouble, I don't think something as hard as juvie is appropriate for them. They need to have whatever issue is forcing them to be bad fixed and then maybe re-educated in manners. Not flung into a court room.

Ok, seriously, I don't get the big thing about homosexuality. Honestly, what people do is none of your business unless it is hurting you. I don't see how someone being gay can hurt you, so I don't see why God would send them to hell unless he was a very evil God. I'm not saying I support it, but if someone wants to be gay, I'm not going to do anything about it because it's known of my business. Choice, it's what makes humans special cause we can choose. They chose to be gay, they aren't hurting anybody, give me one good reason they should go to hell, this is primarily aimed at foremolethomas.

Some guy probably thought that throwing these fools in juvy would give them a taste of their own medecine and therefore they would stop. Some guy has absolutely no concept of how people react in those situations. At the very best case scenario this will o nothing, at worst it will create some of the worst bullies the school system has ever seen.

Actually, thats not true. The church has done that damage over the years by lets see... Killing them, uh. Killing them, making fun of them, killing them, banning them, killing them some more. Makes you wonder who's more divine, gays or the Church.

Foremorethomas, the Bible is not a literal piece of work. I can see that you are a pious man, and that is a good thing. But blind faith will just get you into trouble. God does NOT want you to walk around spreading the good deeds that you do to try and convert people. Look back into the story of how Jesus talks about the men in the Temple that give money and brag about it, or how they have done deeds and brag about it in town. Each time, Jesus tells us that -that- is the wrong approach to dealing with spreading the idea. If people are to follow Christianity, then it will be through our actions than words. If people see us being good Christians, then they will like what they see and want to follow the faith.

Now, with that being said, how do you expect a Gay/Lesbian to want to follow a faith, that directly insults their body? Its perfectly understandable that they don't want to. And well, I want you think about this too. Where does the Bible say what you must do to be saved. Minimum criteria at least? Nothing, not even the Church, which is -not- a divine body cannot even begin to contemplate that. SO, there is no reason that a perfectly law biding, good hearted person who is gay, can't be saved.

Heh, OT God vs NT God. Ever wonder why the God in OT told the jews to kill off people so they could get land, and all of a sudden the NT God is so loving and caring through Jesus? I don't believe that Jesus -ever- speaks against gays/lesbians. Infact, I'm sure he sits with them repeatedly like he did tax collectors. As a Christian, it is your first duty to study and understand the Bible. Expecially if you're going to talk like that. The God of Jesus is a god of Love, not hate, and his patience is infinite. Even if these people are doing such sins against God, I'm sure you're not sinning on a daily basis either. A sin is a sin, and you have sinned and they have sinned. You have no right to say that their sins are greater than yours for you have sinned. Do not try to play God.

Its in Leviticus. I mean, we ALL follow Leviticus today. Stone women for being whores. Kill those that work on Sunday. Etc.
